Heated beds and individual outside runs are central features of the cat pens at Sowood Cattery in Halifax. The purpose-built cattery has fully insulated pens, with family pens also available.
Halifax is one of several towns in Calderdale, West Yorkshire; the district also includes Sowerby Bridge, Hebden Bridge and Todmorden. Calderdale spans southern Pennine landscapes and a transition towards Yorkshire.
Back at the cattery, platforms, ropes and tunnels give cats places to explore, alongside toys and scratching facilities.
