Each unit at Andilees has its own outdoor area with a litter tray, as well as a sleeping shelf with pillows and a cushioned chair. Larger units also have cat trees. These give a cat places to rest and a raised surface to explore during a short or long stay.
Andilees is in Gomersal, a West Yorkshire locality in Kirklees with historic ties to Oakwell Hall and its rural surroundings. The hall’s former owners, the Batt family, held land in Gomersal and nearby places. Gomersal also has a literary connection: Mary Taylor, a friend of Charlotte Brontë, was from Red House in the village.
The cat accommodation is sheltered and insulated, with heating during winter. Fresh food and water are supplied at each mealtime. Andilees is family-run and boards cats.
