Sunnyfields Cattery is in Brighouse, a Calderdale town in West Yorkshire whose industrial growth was shaped by textiles, engineering and other manufacturing. The Calder and Hebble Navigation and the railway also helped the town develop as a transport centre.
For cats staying at Sunnyfields, there are single and double chalets, each with a full-height indoor area and its own covered outdoor run. Inside each chalet, a raised sleeping area has a heated bed; outside, the exercise space looks towards the garden. Toys, scratching surfaces, platforms, ropes and tunnels are among the other cat facilities.
