Top Dogs offers home boarding in which each dog is matched with a carer. Debbie Waterman runs the service, and its carers spend 24 hours a day with the dogs staying with them. Dogs are exercised during their stay, and owners can receive text updates.

Top Dogs is in Speen, a Buckinghamshire village in the parish of Lacey Green. Speen occupies an elevated position in the Chiltern Hills, with plentiful trees and tall hedges. A former workshop on Studridge Lane recalls another aspect of village life: William Plumridge made chair backs there into the 1930s.
