- Keepers and pets coexist
Keepers live at the dog house premises
In Exeter, Sunnymead Kennels & Dog Day Care offers both overnight boarding and daytime care for dogs. This family-run service also provides dog collection and drop-off, which may help an owner organise the journey.
The kennels have indoor and outdoor runs, as well as grass runs where dogs can play, exercise and go to the toilet. Daily walks are part of the routine, and the kennels are heated in colder seasons. Food is provided during a stay.
Exeter grew beside the River Exe from the Roman settlement of Isca Dumnoniorum. The woollen cloth trade became an important part of the city’s history.
