Sausage Dog Hotel offers short and long stays, day care and walks tailored to dachshunds. It is in Trowley Bottom, an area associated with Flamstead in Hertfordshire’s rural surroundings.
Trowley Bottom is a valley in the Markyate Ridges and Valleys landscape. Arable farming is a feature of the valley, giving the locality a setting beyond a town-centre address.
At the hotel, dogs have a large enclosed garden, regular walks and a pool for suitable weather. The hotel describes round-the-clock supervision and regular photo or video updates, so owners can follow their dog’s stay. It also provides dog feeding, medication administered according to veterinary instructions, and pet pick-up and drop-off.
