Purrfect — Cat Hotel

Window seats and cat flaps leading to individual outdoor runs give a clear picture of a stay at Purrfect Cats Hotel. This cat boarding establishment occupies a countryside setting overlooking an orchard in Teignbridge, Devon, with full-height chalets containing sleeping areas.

Teignbridge encompasses a varied stretch of Devon, taking in part of Dartmoor National Park and a coast marked by the Teign and Exe estuaries. The district also contains Dawlish Warren National Nature Reserve. Within that broader landscape, Purrfect’s own orchard outlook and countryside setting give it a rural context.

Inside each chalet, a heating lamp accompanies the sleeping area and window seat. The accommodation is heated in winter and kept cool during summer, while cat flaps lead to spacious individual runs. Cats can see neighbouring guests through the sneeze barriers between their accommodation, something owners may consider in light of their cat’s temperament.

Care extends to daily feeding, with specialised menus available according to dietary needs or veterinary instructions. Medication can be administered following veterinary directions, and brushing is also offered. Scratching equipment and toys provide further outlets for familiar feline habits, alongside the choice between a window seat indoors and the outdoor run.
