Home Farm — Boarding Kennel

A dog keen to run and a cat looking for warmth have different spaces at Home Farm, which boards both in Swillington. Dogs have a large outdoor paddock where they can run off-lead, play with a toy or have a sniff around. The cattery provides snuggle pads and heat lamps for cats. Both the kennels and cattery are heated, and the supplied vet bedding is laundered daily.

Swillington is part of the Lower Aire valley landscape in West Yorkshire, alongside the River Aire and Aire and Calder Canal corridor. Around Swillington and Leventhorpe, small-scale pastures, tree-lined hedges and traces of former farms remain part of the local landscape.

For meals, Home Farm provides dry food, meat and treats, changes the water regularly and normally feeds twice a day. It can also adjust portions to an individual dog’s or cat’s feeding routine, which may matter when their usual mealtimes or appetites differ.
