Fiveoak Boarding Cattery is a family-run business in the Vale of Taunton, with full-time staff caring for cats. The area was part of the former Somerset West and Taunton district, formed by joining Taunton Deane and West Somerset. That district's administration was replaced by Somerset's unitary authority in 2023.
Cats stay in large, insulated chalets with thermostatically controlled heating and large exercise areas. The cat facilities also include platforms, ropes, tunnels, scratching surfaces and toys.
For a cat with particular dietary or treatment needs, Fiveoak offers specialised menus and medication administration according to veterinary instructions. The cabins have access to their own outdoor areas, and temperature regulation is offered in summer as well as winter.
