Digs for Dogs — Boarding Kennel

A stay with Digs for Dogs centres on a host family rather than a kennel. The home-boarding service matches dogs with a family, and Andrea operates its Warrington service from her family home. Its coverage extends beyond Warrington to communities including Culcheth, Lymm, Golborne, Burtonwood and Partington.

Warrington's relationship with the River Mersey runs deep: the town grew beside a ford that served as a crossing for centuries. There was a Roman industrial settlement at Wilderspool on the river's south bank, and later the Mersey's navigation and new canals helped the town expand during the Industrial Revolution.
