Coombe Small Animal Hotel — Boarding Kennel

Coombe Small Animal and Hen Hotel provides boarding to rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and chickens. Coombe Cottage promises secure, clean accommodation, complimentary claw clipping, daily healthchecks, daily exercise for guinea pigs and rabbits, fresh greens and tasty veggies, home grown hay, temperature controlled rooms, separate rooms for smaller caged animals, and individual care plans.

Coombe Cottage has 3 years experience in animal care. Food is provided, but the facility also attempts to accommodate special dietary requirements.

The small animal hotel is located within a stable block opposite the house, overlooking the garden. The hutches are housed behind a mesh door and screen, allowing fresh air and light to enter whilst protecting the animals. Each hutch has an insulated cover for colder weather and thermostat controlled radiators. Fine wood shavings are used as bedding, as well as homegrown hay in the bedroom. Runs provide safe areas for your pet to exercise.

In the hen hotel, there is a paddock with fencing. Each suite has a walk-in run, measuring 1x4ft set on concrete floor. Nest boxes are actually plastic litter trays, which allow for easy cleaning. The chickens will also receive some 'grass time' where they can exercise during the day. Each bird will receive a complimentary dusting of diatom on arrival to protect all guests from red mite.
