Cats Whiskers boards cats in Mid Devon, a largely rural inland district of Devon. Wooded valleys, rolling hills, plateaus and farmland shape the district's landscape. Tiverton is its main town, while Cullompton, Crediton and Bampton are also within the district.
At the cattery, a purpose-built brick building has central heating for winter and is described as cool and airy in summer. The pens are described as larger than average; cats are housed separately, though those from the same family can share appropriately sized accommodation.
For cats inclined to climb or investigate, the facilities include platforms, ropes, tunnels, scratching surfaces and toys. Feeding is also provided during a cat's stay.
