At Bramblewood, each purpose-built kennel has an attached outdoor run and is heated in colder months. The boarding site occupies 35 acres of deer-fenced land where dogs can exercise, and dogs are walked two or three times a day. The keepers live on the premises, and 24-hour external veterinary assistance is available for emergencies.
Bramblewood is in Holsworthy Hamlets, within the rural Torridge district of north-west Devon. Across the district, the landscape includes wooded valleys, dunes and coastal cliffs. Its mainland coast extends from the Cornwall border south of Welcombe to Northam Burrows at the mouth of the Taw and Torridge estuary.
