Woodland is part of the setting at Amanda’s Home Boarding: the dog boarding service is on the 25-acre Mapledurham estate, with more than seven acres of woodland for walks and exploration. For an owner choosing care for an older dog, its focus on more mature dogs and provision for administering medication may be especially pertinent. Daycare is offered alongside boarding.
Amanda’s Home Boarding is in Purley on Thames, a Berkshire parish northwest of Reading. Across the parish, the land slopes from chalk hills in the south towards wet meadows by the Thames. The river forms the parish’s northern boundary; the Mapledurham estate woodland is the outdoor feature associated with the boarding service.
